Thought Partners for
Social Innovators

Houa Lee , MSW

Houa is passionate about culturally relevant, client-centric evaluation. She believes evaluation guided by equity can be a catalyst for systemic social change. Prior to joining ORS Impact in February 2019, Houa completed an internship at United Way of King County, where she developed racial equity tools for grant making and conducted a racial equity analysis of philanthropic investments. Houa also interned at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where she developed a framework for implementing racial equity into a team’s internal and external bodies of work.

Houa received her Bachelor of Science in 2017 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington in 2019. In her free time, Houa enjoys seeing her visual designs come to fruition on the laser cutter, supporting local restaurants and shops, thrifting, and exploring the local area.
